Lucy’s writing focuses on music, film/TV, politics, and digital culture. It has been featured in publications such as i-D, The Independent, The Big Issue, Polyester Zine, and The Skinny.

She was shortlisted for The Guardian’s Hugo Young award for political opinion writing in 2021 , and won PPA Scotland's Young Journalist of the Year award in 2023. Lucy has also served as Film + TV Editor at The Glasgow Guardian, as well as Head Copywriter at TedXUniversityofGlasgow.
